Why I Can Never Act Nude - Actress Biodun Okeowo Reveals

Endowed Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo, widely known as Omoborty, has revealed in a recent interview the reason she does not take roles that exposed her admired body.

The beautiful actress has disappointed her fans (especially the males one), who have let saliva dribble from their mouth just to see her nudes in movies. 

In a chat with Saturday Beats, she said, “I will never be caught acting naked. My experience in the industry has been beautiful, sweet and sour. Even the Bible says that the sky cannot be bright all the time because there will definitely be dark times.”

The mother-of-two also stated that she is now more focused on her business than acting. She said, “Coming into the industry in 2006 was so sweet and beautiful and I had a lot of expectations then. Few years later, I had some challenges that made me decide not to act again. I made up my mind to go into business. Afterwards, producers started requesting that I should feature in their movies.

Then, I went back on set but not like it used to be because a lot of things that happened had killed a bit of the passion in me. Right now, I select the scripts I accept. I won’t be going on set as I used to do before because I am now into business which takes about 80 per cent of my time.

Alleged N4.8bn Fraud: Court Adjourns Cletus Ibeto’s Case till Apr 15

  Justice Oyindamola Ogala of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, March 11, 2024 adjourned the alleged N4.8 billion fraud brought against a businessman, Chief Cletus Ibeto, till April 15, 2024. The case, which was initially before Justice I.O. Ijelu, of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, suffered several adjournments due to the absence of the defendant to take his plea with respect to the 10-count charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was charged alongside his companies, Ibeto Energy Development Company and Odoh Holdings Ltd. Justice Ijelu had on November 3, 2023 declared Ibeto wanted, based on an application moved by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN. He also issued a bench warrant for his arrest. However, when the case came up on January 29, 2024, the court informed all parties involved that the case file had been returned to the Chief Judge of the State High Court.
