Ondo Deputy Gov. Aiyedatiwa Inaugurates Irele LG APC New Secretariat

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Saturday launched the new Irele Local Government All Progressives Congress ( APC ) Party Secretariat, in Ode-Irele, in Irele Local Government.

The party equally held End of the Year party at the new Secretariat at the delight of leaders and party members.

Speaking at the occasion, Aiyedatiwa said having a befitting party Secretariat was in line with APC commitment towards ensuring the deepening of the ruling party in the minds of the people.

He urged party Leaders and members to make effective use of the new Secretariat for the good of the ruling party.

The Deputy Governor equally urged members of the party and other eligible voters in the Local Government to get their Permanent Voters Card ( PVC ) and prepare for the upcoming general election.

Aiyedatiwa appreciated the leaders and people of the Local Government for their love and supports to APC and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu led government.

Other dignitaries at the event are, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, Irele Local Government Executive Chairman, Barrister Segun Ajimotokin, APC chieftain, Chief Olusola Oke SAN, Barrister Morayo Lebi, Omo'ba Jimi Odimayo, former Chairman of Irele Local Government, Hon Vincent Igbasan, Irele Local Government APC Chairman, Zacheaus Omoge and others .

Alleged N4.8bn Fraud: Court Adjourns Cletus Ibeto’s Case till Apr 15

  Justice Oyindamola Ogala of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, March 11, 2024 adjourned the alleged N4.8 billion fraud brought against a businessman, Chief Cletus Ibeto, till April 15, 2024. The case, which was initially before Justice I.O. Ijelu, of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, suffered several adjournments due to the absence of the defendant to take his plea with respect to the 10-count charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was charged alongside his companies, Ibeto Energy Development Company and Odoh Holdings Ltd. Justice Ijelu had on November 3, 2023 declared Ibeto wanted, based on an application moved by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN. He also issued a bench warrant for his arrest. However, when the case came up on January 29, 2024, the court informed all parties involved that the case file had been returned to the Chief Judge of the State High Court.
