Again! Ajimotokin Visits Gbogi Village, Meets Village Heads of Ayadi, Omonira, Lonla, Akinwaye, Dankolo, others.

 


As part of his administrative zeal to ensure the opening up of new roads across villages in the Local Government, Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin today visited Gbogi village and equally met village heads of Ayadi, Omonira, Lola, Akinwaye, Dankolo and others neighbouring villages. 

Hon. Ajimotokin had earlier visited Aba Idogun, Akinbone, Lipanu to ensure the development of roads for the benefit of the dwellers.

According to Hon. Ajimotokin, the quest of opening up new roads as well as developing the ones in bad condition became necessary to alleviate the suffering the village dwellers are passing through for years and the need to enhance the economic activities of the affected villages.


The visit and dialogue with the village heads are primarily to interact with the people on how the work would begin and the need for the community peoples' cooperation mainly when cash crops are affected during the process of grading the new roads.

The honourable Chairman was also conducted around by the village heads to inspect the abandoned Health Centre in Gbogi village for prompt intervention and full operation to enhance health service delivery.

Hon. Ajimotokin assured the village heads that he would expedite action through Primary Health Care towards ensuring the functioning of the hospital for the benefit of the village dwellers. The efforts will also be extended to resuscitate the L. A primary school, Gbogi. 

Reacting, the village heads in their cheerful responses expressed their elation towards the Chairman's plan and assured him of their maximum cooperation and support to ensure the realisation of the proposed plans.



In the entourage of the honourable chairman were; Director of Community Development, Pastor J. B Orukotan, the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Temilola Orimisan, Information Officer, Mrs Grace Adeyehun, Comrade Ebisanmi Kayode among others.
