News reaching us has it that crack reporter and blogger, Alonge Michael of mikeangelonews.com was involved in a car mishap a couple of hours ago. According to the report from an eye witness, Michael who was coming from
church at Bola Badmus Crescent, Ajah area of Lagos suddenly lost one of his front tyres and lost control of the wheels. In a bid to put the car under control and minimise whatever damage that the incident would cause, the car somersaulted to the other side of the road, hitting the fence of a certain lounge along Badore road. He was said to have gone to worship around that area.
It is still a wonder to the people who saw it happen, to fathom how the sole occupant of the vehicle came out of the car unaided. Michael Alonge was locked inside his newly acquired Honda Passport Jeep.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confine to bed rest due to the shock and little injuries sustained.
All effort to reach the CEO of mikeangelonews.com was aborted; his phone rang endlessly without any response.

Alleged N4.8bn Fraud: Court Adjourns Cletus Ibeto’s Case till Apr 15

  Justice Oyindamola Ogala of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, March 11, 2024 adjourned the alleged N4.8 billion fraud brought against a businessman, Chief Cletus Ibeto, till April 15, 2024. The case, which was initially before Justice I.O. Ijelu, of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, suffered several adjournments due to the absence of the defendant to take his plea with respect to the 10-count charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was charged alongside his companies, Ibeto Energy Development Company and Odoh Holdings Ltd. Justice Ijelu had on November 3, 2023 declared Ibeto wanted, based on an application moved by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN. He also issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
