Ice Prince, Iyanya to join Tiwa Savage, Nick Mutuma, others on ‘Shuga’

Ice Prince and Iyanya have been cast to star in the sex and relationship themed series ‘Shuga’.
Iyanya and Ice Prince will both play
themselves in most of the scenes set at the Badoo nightclub, a regular hangout for the casts in Shuga
In the previous season shot in Kenya, EME’s, Banky W and Wizkid were featured in the series with Kenyan star, Nameless.
‘I am so grateful to the MTV Staying Alive team for offering the opportunity to continue to express myself in new and different ways as an actor in Shuga’, Ice Prince who expressed his excitement during one of his shoots said.
Ice Prince and Iyanya will join the star-studded Shuga cast which also includes Nigerian Pop diva Tiwa Savage. Other acts include Chris Attoh, KC Ejelonu, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Okezie Morro, Emmanuel Ikubese, Nick Mutuma, Efa Iwara, Leonora Okine, Maria Okanrende, Sharon Chisom Ezeamaka and others.
‘Shuga’ will premiere on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) on December 1, 2013 (World AIDS Day) and will subsequently air on multiple TV and digital platforms around the world.

Alleged N4.8bn Fraud: Court Adjourns Cletus Ibeto’s Case till Apr 15

  Justice Oyindamola Ogala of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, March 11, 2024 adjourned the alleged N4.8 billion fraud brought against a businessman, Chief Cletus Ibeto, till April 15, 2024. The case, which was initially before Justice I.O. Ijelu, of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, suffered several adjournments due to the absence of the defendant to take his plea with respect to the 10-count charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was charged alongside his companies, Ibeto Energy Development Company and Odoh Holdings Ltd. Justice Ijelu had on November 3, 2023 declared Ibeto wanted, based on an application moved by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN. He also issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
