Terry Tha Rap Man harassed by Nigerian Police

You know the drill: walk around late in naija and you get jumped by the police.
Terry tha Rapman had a late meeting that lasted til 11pm. On his way home, police bundled him into a commercial vehicle (commonly called danfo) without asking questions.
As luck would have it, he ‘BlackBerryd’ someone who knew someone who knew the Inspector General of Police. 2hrs later he was sent home with police escort.
“You know it’s so funny because two of the songs on my coming album actually addresses issues like this… These things can happen to anybody. I’m a celebrity, yet I got picked up for walking around in my neighborhood at night.” says Terry whose 2nd official album titled Boyz Are Not smiling is highly anticipated among his naija fans
I can relate with Terry with the police  because I suffered a similar fate a couple of yrs back. I stepped out briefly to buy me a drink but didn’t make it back. Luckily,  someone saw me being bundled and immediately alerted some of my friends in the media that bailed me out 3hrs later.

Alleged N4.8bn Fraud: Court Adjourns Cletus Ibeto’s Case till Apr 15

  Justice Oyindamola Ogala of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, March 11, 2024 adjourned the alleged N4.8 billion fraud brought against a businessman, Chief Cletus Ibeto, till April 15, 2024. The case, which was initially before Justice I.O. Ijelu, of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, suffered several adjournments due to the absence of the defendant to take his plea with respect to the 10-count charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. He was charged alongside his companies, Ibeto Energy Development Company and Odoh Holdings Ltd. Justice Ijelu had on November 3, 2023 declared Ibeto wanted, based on an application moved by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN. He also issued a bench warrant for his arrest. However, when the case came up on January 29, 2024, the court informed all parties involved that the case file had been returned to the Chief Judge of the State High Court.
